About Me

First off, I'm a Digital Native. That being said, I've been in libraries for almost 5 years, wearing a number of different hats. I started off at Boise Basin Library District in Idaho City. The unique opportunities granted to me by being part of a small library, with a tiny staff, great patrons, and lots of ambition helped me realize that this is the profession for me. I moved to Ada Community Library in August of '05 and am having a wonderful experience with this innovative library as well. I am passionate about library service and the continuing relevance of the profession/institution. I have my B.A. in English Literature from BSU and am currently working on my MLIS through University of Washington.
