I am so excited to discover a new search engine that actually might be better than Google. Shocking I know but see for yourself. My coworker Max showed this site to me today and I was so impressed I had to blog about it. Cuil is actually an old Celtic word for knowledge and the site was created by a former Google engineer. I love the dynamic layout of the search results.

Hey, I have to give it to the cuil guys. It is a true example of grace under fire. They came out with a lot of press and got hammered on their first day out, to debut as the 3rd most popular search engine, if but for a day. They did a valiant job keeping their servers up and to be honest... I think that they are going to be here to stay, if for no other reason that to keep google on it's toes and honest! I like their format and search features. Pretty good for day one... Imagine where they will be in 6 months!!!! -MGF
