Create your own Facebook/MySpace/ Community Group

I've always liked the way Facebook, MySpace and other social networks allow people to create and share ideas, pictures, videos, music, and everything in between. Wouldn't it be great if YOU could make your own social network about what YOU are passionate about? Wait no more: enter Ning!

I've whipped up a L 2.0 Ning profile (http://library20.ning.com/profile/grifflet), but I can't find you to friend, Memo! Maybe you could add me as a friend instead? Definitely looking forward to trying this new social networking site! Maybe we need a SPLAT social network, for SPLAT members and fans?

Ning was featured in an article in the Wall Street Journal in late January: "Mini-MySpaces: New social-networking sites create communities catering to specific interests" by Roger Cheng appeared in the consumer technology section of the Jan. 29, 2007 WSJ.
